Static websites
Most brochure and service websites are fast static sites. We host them on Cloudflare, which serves your pages from servers close to your visitors.
WordPress websites
When you need a WordPress editor or plugins, we host it on managed servers located in the UK or EU, with updates tested before they go live.
Online shops
Shops run on Shopify, set up in your name. Shopify looks after the checkout platform, and we look after your design, content and settings.

Client websites and personal data are hosted on UK or EU infrastructure by default. That keeps things simple for UK GDPR and EU GDPR, because personal data collected by your website does not travel further than it needs to.
Every care plan includes a data processing agreement (DPA), so it is written down what we do with personal data on your behalf. See security and compliance for the full list of checks.

Is hosting included in the price?
Yes. Hosting is included in every ZTech care plan, from £45/month. You do not buy it separately, and there is no hosting contract with a third party that you have to manage.
Where is my website data stored?
Client websites and personal data are hosted on UK or EU infrastructure by default. Every care plan comes with a data processing agreement (DPA) that says what we do with personal data on your behalf.
Do you promise 100% uptime?
No. No host can honestly promise that. We choose reputable hosts, monitor your site around the clock and act quickly, but we never promise more than the host itself guarantees.
Can I take my website and host it somewhere else?
Yes. You own your domain, content and code. Your domain is registered in your name. If you leave, we hand over your files, content and a backup so you can move.
Which platform do you build on?
We pick the platform that fits the job. Most brochure and service websites are fast static sites with a simple editor; we use WordPress when you need its plugins, and Shopify for online shops. You can edit your own content on all of them.
