Pricing
How much does a small business website cost with ZTech?
ZTech websites start at £1,195 for up to 5 pages, and our recommended 10-page Business website is £2,250. A single landing page is £595 and the Growth package is £3,750. In the US prices start at $1,495 and in the EU at €1,395. Prices exclude VAT where it applies.
Can I pay monthly instead of upfront?
Yes. Launch Monthly is £99/month with no setup fee, and Business Monthly is £149/month plus a £195 setup fee. Both run for 24 months, include Essential care, and you own the site after month 24.
Do your prices include VAT?
No. Prices exclude VAT where VAT applies. Business customers outside the UK are usually not charged UK VAT (EU businesses account for it under the reverse charge). We confirm the exact treatment on your quote.
How do deposits and payments work?
Landing Page, Launch and Business are 50% at the start and 50% at launch. Growth is 40% at the start, 30% at design approval and 30% at launch. Paying a care plan annually gets 2 months free.
Process
How long does it take to build my website?
A landing page takes about 1 week, a Launch website 2 weeks, a Business website 3 weeks and a Growth website 5 to 6 weeks. The clock starts once we have your content, and pauses if we are waiting on you.
What if I do not like the design?
If you do not approve your homepage design after the included revision rounds, we refund your deposit in full before any development starts.
What do you need from me to start?
Your logo and brand colours if you have them, the words and photos you want to use (or a copywriting add-on), access to your domain, and one person who can approve things.
Ownership and care
Who owns my website and domain?
You do. You own your domain, content and code. Your domain is registered in your name. We manage it for you with delegated access, so you can leave at any time and take everything with you.
What happens after my website goes live?
Every build includes 30 days of post-launch fixes on every build. After that, a care plan from £45/month covers hosting, daily backups, updates, security checks, uptime monitoring, small edits and a monthly report.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. Every package includes a simple content editor and a handover video. If you would rather not, care plans include monthly edit time, from 30 minutes of edits to 5 hours of edits.
Which platform do you build on?
We pick the platform that fits the job. Most brochure and service websites are fast static sites with a simple editor; we use WordPress when you need its plugins, and Shopify for online shops. You can edit your own content on all of them.
Compliance and search
Will my website be accessible and GDPR-friendly?
Yes, by default. Every site is checked against WCAG 2.2 AA, gets an accessibility statement and privacy pages, loads no tracking before consent, and is hosted on UK or EU infrastructure. We do not claim any site is "fully compliant", because that depends on your content too, but we build to the standard and show you the checks.
Will my website show up on Google?
We set up the foundations on every site: page titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, fast mobile pages and clear answers to customer questions. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, and we never will. For ongoing work, our Local SEO service handles your Google Business Profile and local pages.
Will my site need a cookie banner?
Not if it sets no non-essential cookies. If you add analytics or marketing tags, we set up consent so nothing non-essential loads before a visitor agrees.

ZTech is uk-founded and has been running since 2016, with a team with 10+ years of combined experience. We work with small and medium businesses in the UK, the US, Ireland and across Europe, mostly by video call and email.
Do you work with other agencies?
Yes. We offer white-label build and care for agencies. White-label partners get 15% off list prices on volume.
