What the EAA means for a small business website
The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025 to a range of products and services, including e-commerce services. If you sell to consumers online in the EU, your shop and checkout may be in scope. Read the Directive (EU) 2019/882 (opens in a new tab).
Microenterprises that provide services are exempt. A microenterprise has fewer than 10 staff and annual turnover or a balance sheet of up to EUR 2 million. If you are larger, or you sell products, the position can differ, so ask an adviser about your own case. This page is not legal advice.

Hosting and privacy
Client websites and personal data are hosted on UK or EU infrastructure by default. Every care plan includes a data processing agreement and a sub-processor list, and we load nothing non-essential before a visitor consents.
You own it
You own your domain, content and code. Your domain is registered in your name. Support runs 09:00 to 17:30 UK time, Monday to Friday, which suits Irish and most EU working days.

Does the European Accessibility Act apply to my small business?

Can you make my website EAA compliant?
We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and check your core pages, which is the sensible target for the Act's web requirements. We do not promise that a site is fully compliant, because that also depends on your content and how you run the business. This is not legal advice.
Where is my data stored?
Client websites and personal data are hosted on UK or EU infrastructure by default. A data processing agreement and sub-processor list come with every care plan. Static sites run on Cloudflare's network, and WordPress sites run on UK or EU-hosted servers.
Do you charge Irish or EU VAT?
Prices are in euros and exclude VAT where it applies. Prices exclude VAT where VAT applies. Business customers outside the UK are usually not charged UK VAT, and EU businesses account for it under the reverse charge. We confirm the exact treatment on your quote.
Can my website be in more than one language?
Yes. The Growth package includes 2 languages, and an extra language (up to 10 pages) is €450 as an add-on. We pick the platform and structure so each language has its own pages and metadata.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Launch Monthly is €115/month with no setup fee, and Business Monthly is €169/month plus a €195 setup fee. Both run for 24 months and include Essential care.
